06/07/2004: "The Rush is on"

Saw Rush in Chicago Sat. night. 30th anniversary tour. Pretty much the same show as two years ago, but what do you expect. They had a funny Jerry Stiller video for the intro to the concert, plus some new animations. PLUS: instead of three clothes dryers, Geddy now has two clothes dryers plus a vending machine! Good show all around.
We accidentally ended up going from the Tweeter Center toward downtown to 94 for the trip north. Big road construction nightmare. "Fly by Night," not. Hah! But the new Dodge minivan cruised effortlessly. It's no Maybach, but we try.
